We are so glad that you decided to visit our homeschool group and we are excited that you are considering us as a possible support group for your family!

 

Umoja Christian Homeschool Support Group is a Christian Co-op group with workshops, field trips, special events and activities as well as fun and relaxing moms' only gatherings.

 

As a part of the visiting process, your child(ren) is (are) welcome to participate in all the workshop activities held during the day of your visit. Please note on any particular day that your family is visiting, we may be having a special pre-planned event or activity and will try to include your child(ren) as much as possible.

 

You are welcome to observe the workshops and are free to ask any available parent any questions that you may have. If help is needed, you are welcome to assist your child(ren) with their activity. We do ask that you allow your child(ren) to participate independently, as much as possible as this will allow you to see if our group is a fit for your family.

 

Photo Release

On the day of your visit, there may be photos taken by various parents in the group. You and your child(ren) may be included in some of the photos. The photos may be used for advertisement, portfolio reviews, and/or personal memory books. By participating in our group activities, you give Umoja Christian Homeschool Support Group, it's families and/or volunteers the right to use the photos in one or all of the above forms.

 

Liability Release
UMOJA Christian Homeschool Support Group, it's officers, leaders, members or chaperones are in no way employed by Huntington Ridge Presbyterian Church (HRPC). HRPC is the rented location for our workshop sessions. We are a group of volunteering moms coordinating a co-op to give our children a safe and supplemental fellowship.  As we don't anticipate any dangers, we must state that all parties involved (UMOJA as a group, it's officers, leaders, members, and/or chaperones along with the employees, staff, and/or volunteers of Huntington Ridge Presbyterian Church) can not be held responsible for any damages, injuries or losses to the visiting family or their property while attending an Umoja homeschool sessions or while on the premises of HRPC.  By participating in our group activities, you are accepting responsibility for any damages, injuries or losses that may come from the visiting session with Umoja Christian Homeschool Support Group.
